The right Starlink mount depends on the antenna you own, the available mounting surface and whether you need to remove the antenna between trips. Start with the exact antenna model—not just a service name such as Maritime or RV, or a generation number on its own.
The APEX Mini Roof Mount is an aluminum mounting option with a low-profile design and removable knobs; protective-cover and security-bolt options are listed on its product page. The APXMDM Mini Surface Mount uses ASA end caps and aluminum strips and includes a horizontal cable seal.
For an APXMDM installation that needs a removable base, review the APXMDMRB base kit. This is an accessory for the separately sold APXMDM mount, not a complete mount by itself. Browse all Mini mounting options to compare other installation types.
Compare the APXG3DMV2 Standard Surface Mount with the SRM200WB8 Standard mounting kit with an 8-degree wedge. For a modular pedestal installation, select the Standard-specific top plate and compatible pedestal listed in the Standard Gen 3 collection.
For Performance Gen 3, the SRM300WB8 surface-mount kit includes an adapter plate, 8-degree wedge base and cable seal. The ADASPG3AP adapter plate is a different purchase: it adapts the antenna to a compatible existing wedge base and does not include that base or the antenna.
For the older Performance Gen 2 antenna, formerly called Flat High Performance, use the Performance Gen 2 mounting collection. Do not assume a Gen 2 mount fits a Gen 3 antenna without the required adapter.
Check the Standard Actuated and Enterprise adapter collection for threaded adapters, fixed bases, ratchet bases and compatible modular top plates. Follow each product's operating restrictions. For example, the ADASTLK modular top plate is not intended for use underway.
Before drilling, compare the mount footprint with the available deck, roof, mast or panel. Check access to fasteners, overall height, antenna removal clearance and the cable path. Follow the antenna manufacturer's guidance for obstructions and positioning.
Choose a cable entry seal by cable diameter, connector size, number of cables and entry direction. Check the mount's included parts first so you do not order a duplicate seal. A removable mount base does not automatically provide an electrical quick-disconnect.
Review the mount drawings and installation instructions, confirm which parts are sold separately and follow the antenna, mount and service requirements for your intended use. A secure mount alone does not establish that every antenna and service plan can be used in motion.
Need antenna hardware as well? Use the Starlink antenna and mount selector. Starlink antennas purchased from Seaview require separately purchased service through KVH. For an unusual installation, contact Seaview with your antenna model and mounting details.
