Seaview’s Self-Draining Waterproof Base Plates

Seaview has designed a self-draining waterproof base plate to be supplied standard with most Seaview mounts that have a 7" or 10" base plate. This base plate has a built in cable gland (deck seal) to provide a waterproof point of entry, while also self-draining if any water does happen to find its way into the base of the mount. The Seaview modular top plates will still have rubber gaskets to help keep water out, but the base will ensure that it is 100% waterproof and will not collect and hold water.
