We use the Seaview Cable seals on our product called the BathyCat, a USV Unmanned Surface Vessel. The sonar Data/Power cable passes through the bottom of the Catamaran via the cable seal. No issues with water getting inside the BathyCat.
very happy with it
I bought this to bring wires for an ac unit into a van roof. I watched video after vidio of people cutting the wires and using a standard roof gland. Then splicing it back together that seemed like you just were creating another point of resistance and failure. But with this product I was able to leave the connectors intact and bring both wires though without cutting and splicing. I followed the directions and used the brass drills and a perfect watertight entry was made. Dont hesitate buying this if you want a good compact entry gland for your wires.
Service above and beyond expected.
I installed a Starlink in my RV and this is the perfect product to get the wire inside the RV and not having to worry about water getting inside. Very easy to use.
Each Cable Gland is supplied with a blank rubber tapered seal that has a molded location to drill and cut. Captive nuts make for easy assembly. Cable connectors do not need to be removed during installation. Stainless steel fasteners included.
"We outfitted a brand new Duckworth 26 offshore fishing machine with the latest Simrad NSS12/ BSM 3 fish finder with a large transom transducer. These have dual large diameter 1" plugs. Because of the dual outboards it is safer to bring the cable up high on the transom below the Yamaha hoses. This particular boat is metal flake black finish aluminum."
"The Seaview cable gland model CG30AB that we used is ideal, easy to install and matched the other Yamaha and Uflex through holes. This is a new product that improves on other designs, looks good and works well."

"After the Seaview cable gland was installed and tested with an open hose (plenty of water), I have to say I´m very happy with the result, absolutely great, and dry inside, not even a minimal leak!. No leaks after 10 minutes of open water flow on cable gland. After 5 months the gland still works great! We are having a rainy season unlike anything before... still NO LEAKS!, NOT ONE!. I'm absolutely satisfied with the solution found. Thanks for the product!!!."
